Star Interviews
Antonio Picchio Nero, 33
Antonio started life in a factory before being put into a cardboard box and transported in the back of a articulated lorry to the storeroom of Argos superstore in Coventry. Antonio became reasonably settled for a short period of time before being taken out of his box and put on display in a glass cabinet. Lots of, what he now knows of as human beings would look and point. Smaller versions would press their faces against the glass and shout out - “I want one! .... I want one of them ones, please, please, please mummy, get me one, I want one so much!” Although, Antonio feels this was a very traumatic start to his life, he also feels that the whole experience gave him a yearning for constant attention that he still craves to this day. It was also the time that Antonio came to realise that he felt uncomfortable in the body he was made up in, as the Barbie doll sitting next to him got far more admirers than he did. It was at this crucial point in his life that he wanted more than anything to change into a Barbie doll himself - a journey he knew would remain a dream and never, ever become a reality.
Antonio, started his acting career at PallattWood Studio. He quickly became one of the leading actors due to his amazing strength and physical flexibility. He is well loved and respected by his fellow actors who, fondly know him as Barbs.
