Billy Hignett, 31

First discovered at a table-top sale in Leicester.  In 2001, his portrayal of Tracy Richards in the BBC 4 drama, Band Of Gold earned him a Bafta nomination, and he got another for being a good looking guy.  He has appeared in Danny Boyle's acclaimed production of Trainspotting (2017), which he didn’t enjoy at all, but helped him to achieve super stardom status and a healthy bank balance.  His other film parts are too many to mention due to limited space.   His latest venture is one of co-directing with Steven Spielberg, in his latest film entitled Billy and the Amazing Table-top Sale.

In 2020, he designed, and physically built - with a small team of ‘resting’ actors - PallattWood Studio: a rustic, organic, artisan and totally independent creative space for both up and coming and unknown actors and musicians.  Billy feels this is his greatest achievement to date.
